The project Evenings of the Bolshoi Theater at the Radziwill Castle will be held in the town of Nesvizh for the eighth time, BelTA learned from the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus.
On 23 June, Viktor Skorobogatov will present his program Belarusian Classicism at the Corpus Christi Church. The festival will open in the courtyard of the castle with Adolphe Adam's ballet Giselle, ou les Wilis conducted by Nikolai Kolyadko.
The second festival day will feature music about love performed by Tatiana Tretyak, Vladimir Petrov, Tatiana Gavrilova, Eduard Martynyuk and the string quintet Serenada in the Theater Hall of the castle. In the evening, the guests will be invited to enjoy Pietro Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana. The opera production staged by Mikhail Pandzhavidze was premiered on 30 April.
On 25 June, Ivan Kostyakhin and director Yelena Medyakova will present their recent production of Gaetano Donizetti's Viva La Mamma! starring Andrei Klipo as Mamma Agata, Yelena Tabolich as Luigia, Denis Yantsevich as Director, Sergei Lazarevich as Maestro, Yelena Zolova as Corilla, Kriskentia Stasenko as Dorotea, and Alexander Zhukov as Guglielmo.
The festival will wrap up with the grand Radziwill Ball. The gala will be conducted by Andrei Galanov.
